Well, I just got to spend a weekend in Boise. It was pretty awesome. I finally after about 31/2 or 4 years, (i am not good at counting years backwards) got to catch up with the Hinckley family, I met them my fourth week in the mission. Haley is really good at singing and piano, I already knew that Holly was good at writing and singing and playing guitar. Decker has gone off to college... all the way in Nampa... and Dawson has grown up a lot. I got to see Julie Weigt, and catch up with her, and I stayed with Sister Wilkinson, the very same room I stayed when I was serving in the area. I was able to visit with the Stoddards, their oldest son has gone off on a mission, he is supposed to serve in Mexico, but he is in SLC waiting for his VISA to clear. I visited the Hinckles very briefly, and also the Hallenburgers, WIth Jenny I made five pies. I pretty much walked everywhere I went.
Lets see, I finished Mockingjay, the third and final book in the hunger games series, I LOVED THE ENDING so you haters can just back off... I feel that Collins ended it very well.
We are starting cake decorating in Bakery now, so Wednesday I get to make cake and come home and freeze it; then I have to take it back next week. Also we have our "Scriptural food essays" due next monday. That'll be fun, I think I may use Leavening as my food. It interests me pretty well.
I took Evelyn Pilgrim to the Temple on friday and baptized her. then confirmed her. Now I am going to mail her card off to Aunt Zona to have the rest of her work taken care of.
While I was in my Family History class at BYU-I I was told to make a blog to which I will be posting certain "projects" One my testimony, Two my Life goals, and Three My Personal History. Anyway, I am Also using this Blog to share what I know, Do, see, want... etc. I Am writing for those who are not near me, as well as those who (someday) will come after me... Also, I am going to share my thought on some topics. Opinions are welcome in the comments section, if you will. Enjoy.

Presidents Day Weekend
So I have this planner, It is remarkably like the planner used by Full-Time Missionaries, it just so happens to be titled the RM Daily Planner... Figures right... so today, I sat down (this morning about 10:30) and did weekly Planning... set out my goals, my scripture study topics, things I need to get done,, workout goals etc. It was pretty awesome!
It is Midterms week... I only know of one that I have to take this week, the other teachers have said nothing on the topic... hope it stays that way... Well, I beleive I promised some photos, so here is a few new ones.
I saw the Ice formed small domes on the ground outside my apartment... It thought, 'How Odd"...

It is 9:20am so I'll have to run soon (I have class at 10:15) I realized this past week I am in a class I do not need! I guess I mis-read something when I was choosing lasses before... so I guess one of them will just have to be an elective... I guess I am ok with that.
Last Saturday night I went on a date with Jennifer from my Bakery class. we went to Dollar Tree and each got a few things that describe ourselves. Then we went across the street to Dairy Queen and we showed each other what we picked out and explained why that describes us. (one of my things was play-dough) Which we then ended up playing with right there, (you should have seen the looks one peoples faces seeing to college kids playing with that in public). Tuesday (Valentines) I was asked by my roommate Matt to please Cater his date. I made Chicken Alfredo which he loved and I was given several Compliments by his date and by the other couple that was with them. I made a loaf of french bread for them too but I forgot to serve it... oh well...
I Have joined a swim team which we have now had two competitions, my times on the 50 free were 25.6 and 26.something, which is still better than I had expected to do. I am also swimming the 500 and another 4X50 relay and sometimes I am in the 100 free or 100 back. I love swimming.
I have been reading the Hobbit lately which I have really been enjoying, when I finish this I have to read The oddysee and a couple other books for my world foundations class (the one i discovered I do not need) Then When I finally get all that done I get to read the Third book in the Hunger Games series, Mockingjay, I am really excited to read it as I Really enjoyed the first two that I read a few weeks ago, but I decided to read my school books first... I am also really excited about the new movie coming out for the Hunger Games, March 23rd it gets released. I am so Excited!
I applied at Sam's Club for work, my Friend Matthew LaForce works there now, If I am able to get the job there my parents have said they'll bring me my car so I'll not have to rely on my roommates whenever I need to go to the store. I do not expect to drive to much as everything I do is right across the street, I'm always either at home or at the college, so I don't really have a reason to go anywhere else.
Two weeks ago I went to the Idaho Falls Temple and that was awesome! I really like that one, but I Like Rexburg better, so my preference order has now become new, LA, Rexburg, Idaho Falls, Boise, Salt Lake, Redlands, Detroit, Twin Falls, Logan, Provo. (these are only the ones I have been inside)
Well I am going to take off, I still have a bit of time but I need to frost this cake I made before I go to class. I'll take some pictures and upload them later.

It occurred to me this afternoon while I was speaking with my grandma that I left over over a month ago to come to BYU-Idaho, it is interesting to me that it does not feel that long. I love talking to Grandma, she is the best grandma.
I realize I did make a mistake last week, twice... I stated I had ben here for two weeks and that it had been 7 days since posting before, I apologize. I had been here three weeks and it had been more like ten or eleven days.
Now onto the here and now, this past week was pretty awesome! Monday I had bakery and we went over the procedure for making cinnamon rolls, which we made wednesday. Also on Monday after swim practice I made pretzels, the big soft ones for my home evening group; they got many a compliment and I was even told by one sister in the group that if I could make her a pie she'd let me get away with murder... figuratively of course... Tuesday I accidently missed my first class due to setting my Alarm Clock wrong, but I made it to the others just fine. same thing happened Thursday. Wednesday, I made Cinnamon Rolls and they were delicious. Thursday I made some dinner for me and a few friends (one of which was my roommate, Scott)

It's been about a week, I have now been at BYUI for three weeks. I was recently called as the EQP of the 1st quorum of elders in my ward. I called my two councilors and thy were set apart right along side me last sunday morning. We set up home-teaching routes and called most of the elders in our quorum to callings and will be setting them apart and sustaining them today to those callings. My high councilman called me yesterday to make sure that I know how and then walked me through it over the phone.
In classes I have recently read The Knight in Rusty Armor, which I loved and I am about to start reading The Hobbit, I am looking forward to it. I have been working on my family History projects, and learned on Friday I am way ahead of schedule for he class i am taking in family History. The other classes are going pretty well too. Bakery we learned Bagels this week, and I am looking forward to class tomorrow because we'll be going over the next thing we'll be baking. I love it. The only thing I am not TOO thrilled about is the snow that fell yesterday... I was just fine without it... Oh well I guess that is life. Well I'm off, I have a meeting to be at this morning.

It was now one week four days ago I arrived at the campus of BYU-I, I have loved every moment of it. I may not like to cold, but the truth is that even though (it is currently 9 degrees) I haven't really minded it to much. This semester I am enrolled in the following classes; Bakery, Foundations Science, World Foundations, Foundations Humanities: Quests in the Arts, and Introduction to Family History. These are all great classes. I sseem to be liking my Humanities class and Bakery Class the most.
I Have run into so many people I know, first Kylee Young. then So many more. Mary Brinck, Kamille Barney, Meagan Jueschke, Elle Daily, David Isais Martinez, Stephen Warner, and more... I seem to have been assigned by the entirety of the home evening group I am in as the leader for it, which I guess I can do. I have met with the Bishop and one of the councilors on a couple occasions now, and I have even met the stake president.
My Roommates this semester are Scott Miles, MAtthew SMith, Kip B., Joseph M, and Nick Rechts. They are all pretty cool guys and its been a fun time at home.
I am currently looking into expanding my Vending machine business up here, I'll be attempting to begin at the Rexburg housing complexes first. then moving into other apartments if possible and hopefully into different businesses around town. I've already contacted the City of Rexburg and I know the cost of licensing and the process to go through to do so. Wish me luck.

I am a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It has been the most wonderful blessing in my life as I have been led and guided by the spirit of God to making some of my most important decision such as wether or not to Serve a mission, Where to Go to School, What to study, and many more. Throughout my life I have been able to enjoy happiness from living a virtuous life and I attribute all my blessing to the grace of God; for I know that it has been his hand upholding me in my times of trial, The times I wanted to just go home but couldn't, I prayed and he did comfort me. I know that as a Member of the Church I have been sealed to my parent through Sacred temple ordinances and I can/will be with my family for all eternity. One day when I get the opportunity to have my own family and I am sealed to my own future wife, I know that I will be able to share those bonds that we will form not only for life, but forever. I know that Jesus Christ is the saviour of the world and that He died for ME, he did die for the rest of the human race, but he felt pains for my wrongdoings, and paid the price that I may return. I know the Book of Mormon to be the true word of God. I know that there is a Prophet of God on the earth Today, his name being Thomas S Monson. I say this all in Jesus name. Amen,

Having realized I do not need separate blogs for my testimony and my time at BYUI I decided this morning to copy and paste these two blogs into one and get rid of the other two.
